Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, New Hope

Silver Lake Nature Preserve
Bucks County's "Silver Lake Nature Preserve" is home to rare and threatened animal and plant species including the Red Belly Turtle, Southern Leopard Frog, and the Maryland Meadow Beauty. Silver Lake Park - Coastal Plain Forest (465 acres)

Highlands Mansion and Gardens
A 44 acre historic site with a late 18th century Georgian Mansion and 2 acre formal garden with Gothic Revival Gardener's cottage and stone walls. www.highlandshistorical.org

Grounds for Sculpture
 A 35-acre sculpture park and museum located on the site of the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Grounds For Sculpture's landscaped grounds and historic, renovated buildings feature changing exhibitions of contemporary sculpture. www.groundsforsculpture.org

Paxson Hill Farm in rural New Hope is a hidden treasure of 100 plus acres of annuals, perenials, herbs, vegetables, tropicals, shrubs, vines, pond plants and exotic fish.....amid formal gardens, a maze and Llamas, turkeys and peacocks!  www.paxsonhillfarm.com  Owner Bruce Gangawer is a Horticulturalist.  Open t/o the week.

The Lavender at Carousel Farm, also located in rural New Hope, features 100 + acres and historic buildings surrounded by lavender fields.  Harvested in May and June, the smell is spectacular!  They make a lot of their own products from their organically grown Lavendar and have a small gift shop within  a c. 1760 stone outbuilding.  Open on Saturdays to the public from 9 - 5 pm.  (Innkeeper Dinie leads private tours for small groups at times too.)  www.CarouselFarmLavender.com
